Jan,
i love your blog and visit almost daily. I have really been enjoying your You Tube videos as well. Thanks so much for taking the time to help newbie artist like myself get started! It has been so extremely helpful! My problem is getting source materials. I have a full time job and don't always have time to go out on photo shoots. Do you have any ideas about that? Thanks again, oh and by the way, I had a hard time hearing you in this video because of the music. Just thought you might want to know. Thanks again!
Enjoyed the video and painting Jan. Great way to show how Social Media can create camaraderie and inspiration! Thanks :)
Hi Karen,
Sign up for free at www.wetcanvas.com a huge forum for artists. They have an artists reference library of images contributed by members for other artits to use in the creation of artwork.
Some people said the music was too loud and others said it was fine (I asked over on twitter to get some instant feedback)
I suspect that just like colors it will be different on different computers.
So with that in mind I will probably only have a little music fade in and out at the beginning and the end and not have it play all the way through the demo. A nice compromise!
Hi Debbie,
I think social media has the potential to connect people in so many productive and inspiring ways. Artists, collectors, museums, galleries, businesses of all sorts.
Whenever you put creative and talented people in touch with one another good things are bound to happen.
