Autumn Glory, 24x30, acrylic on linen
I am thrilled to report that my painting above, Autumn Glory, has been juried into the 40th Annual New Britain Museum of American Art Member's Exhibition. The exhibit this year was juried by Nancy Stula, Director and Curator of the Lyman Allyn Museum, in New London, CT and author of the book At Home and Abroad: The Transcendental Landscapes of Christopher Pearce Cranch (1813-1892) a book that accompanied a splendid exhibit of Cranch's work she curated 2 years ago. I loved the exhibit and love the book and I'm very honored to have been juried into this show by Ms.Stula.
If you are within in driving distance of New Britain, CT please join me at the opening reception Sunday, December,20th, 2:00-3:30. Please don't be shy about coming up and introducing yourself! I'd love for you to share my excitement at being juried into this prestigous show for the second year in a row! I'm always tickled pink knowing that my painting is actually hanging in a museum!
